[patch] html cleanup in index pages

Hi list,

I found the index page HTML awkward to follow when I was figuring out the previous patch I submitted.
This patch tweaks the formatting of the HTML code ever so slightly to make it easily readable, at the expense of about 35 extra bytes per table row.
