[hypermail] Incorrect Threading

Was the issue of incorrect threading ever resolved? The last time I saw it in the list was
http://www.hypermail.org/hypermail/mail-archive/2001/Aug/0000.html but there wasn't a clear answer.

I'm hearing that the In-Reply-To header needs to work, but the sendto directive can't handle it.
